Five individuals of different specialties (builders, carpenters, an architect) are members of the “Stagones”, and they live in buildings constructed using natural materials.
We offer assistance and advice to those who want to build in this way and thus experience the benefits of living in handmade buildings constructed with materials readily available in nature.
What is natural building?
The term ‘natural building’ describes various construction techniques that utilize clay, sand, stone, wood, and other natural materials. Natural building is a sustainable option as it uses resources that are natural, reusable, and renewable, allowing people to live in homes closer to nature.
Natural building also offers a healthier alternative compared to customary building methods, as these natural materials allow for easier regulation of humidity and temperature inside buildings, making them energy-efficient, while they also provide a healthier indoor environment with fewer allergens.
